An addition to the celestial series. Originally 12" x 24" acrylic on canvas. A concept where planets are harmoniously intertwined with trees. Each tree reflects both the appearance and characteristic of its intertwined planet (see below).
Mercury Retrograde (Bonsai): Small with a unique appearance due to manipulation.
Venus (Flame Tree): Hottest planet (465° C).
Earth (Olive Tree of Vouves): The oldest known olive tree. Olive trees, symbolizing peace, are know for their cultural, agricultural and religious ties to humanity.
Mars (Maple): known for their brilliant red appearance.
Jupiter (Giant Sequoia): A type of Redwood and the Largest tree on Earth by volume.
