Thirsty (36x24inch acrylic on canvas)

A single bumblebee hovers over a drying Indian Blanket (Firewheel) flower as a stormy cumulonimbus cloud approaches from the distances. The land is desolate and dry, the flower thirsty and desperate, the bee eager to pollinate.

The Firewheel flower is known for it’s renewal and resilient characteristics. The storm signifies a powerful energy needed to reignite the land, and water the flower of course. It is then up to the bee to pollinate and replenish and propagate the land.

My 4th installment to the desolate world series. This time, a happy outcome!
